Photography is a way of art that lets us express our emotions. with my Picture series i changed all the photos to black and white which gave it a differant feel, and then i put a pop of color into it too. I like the picture series because it is unique and something a have never done before
I really like how Julia’s series portrays who her model is. In the first picture the colored background makes it seem like the model is looking at the light. One thing I don’t like about the series is the second photo on the left side. It looks like it was stretched out too wide and at first glance you don’t really notice it. After examining the series I noticed the photograph, but before that I just thought it was grey space. The photo could have been resized properly and maybe there could have been a space between the photos. The hints of color accent the series well and the model was portrayed in various angles, one thing I really like is the colored tongue piercing in the black and white photo on the right. This gives it a lot of emphasis and contrast to the dull background.
